thanks everyone.. it took about 4 hours to dry off as it was cold and continued raining all day, and it was a long drive back to home base.. BUT it was worth braving the elements for the photo!

Beautiful capture of blue ice, Songbird! It always amazes me how blue the ice can get in a glacier. I have a photo of an ice cave and the color does not look real. Excellent capture and very well done!!....Denny

I f you ever do go to Alaska.. be sure to take the land trip after the cruise... Alaska is all about the interior..Its amazing and you can only see a tiny fraction from the ship... My son lives there so Im lucky to have a home base.
