I can't imagine this one not going anywhere the first time, it is just phenomenal!! I have no idea how you get this close to a dragonfly, even with a macro lens...the darn things just see me coming and git gone!

These two dragonfly captures are perfect back to school shots, Laurie. The downward angle of the wings is particularly telling, I think -- looks a little sad. Surely they will soon be as nostalgic as we for the relatively carefree days of summer. Good luck on both of these this time around -- they are certainly magnificent captures.
