Thanks Paul! You are absolutly correct. This was one of the rare cleaner areas at the farm too, but when I got home last night everything had to be soaked and washed immediatly including my gear and myself!.. Everything was filthy but it fun!!

Susan, I didn't have a protective filter on the lens but I should have had one. I don't own any..

A few of the piglets ran up to the lens, sniffed it and got it full of mud. I cleaned it and it looks ok but that wasn't smart of me to go out there unprotected. Maybe I'll pick up one for this specific 'funny animal'lens, but I don't think that they make any kind of filtersfor the super wide angle lenses such as mine. I neve saw a place where it could be screwed in..
