I do like this blur in this shot, but not crazy about the way it goes from blur to sharp. Was your lens fogged up? I have taken some neat shots in the past with this happening! When it does happen it is best to take one flower and get up close on it then it seems to glow due to the blur!

This is actually the first photo that I tried to mess with the blur feature on Picasa. I wasn't sure what to think of it either. It was better than the original photo, which was pretty bland, but yeah, not really crazy about it either. Just thought I'd run it past y'all.

I've never used Picasa...I hear it is nice....wonder if it is like PS?

It has some pretty simple capabilities, but it's nice. And it's free. I also use GIMP for pixel-level editing. I've never used PS, so I couldn't really give you a comparison.
