Blue Ring Octopus. Deadliest of sea creatures yet on seeing it in a rockpool you proberbly would try and get it out.I came across this on an outing at La Perouse ,just rock hopping and thought it was enjoyable to see moving around ,called paul over and when his shadow covered the pool the colours started to come out it sure was a sight ,then we realised how poisonious this is.I had never seen one before and thought they were only in the tropical parts of Nth Qld,not at Botany Bay.How wrong I was.

I haven't seen one in the wild before. They are very dangerous! A terrific find and capture!
