Tom on the right, had just finished driving the truck over to the field so the seed could be unloaded into the potato planter which is operated my Tom's brother. You can seed the pototoes dropping.
We did finish planting potatoes on Monday afternoon. :) :) :)

Glad to hear the job is done. How soon before the potato soup is on the table?

I have found the how-to's of potato farming very interesting. My great grandfather was a potato farmer up in Vermont. Of course your ways are so much more modern than his horses and his hoe.

Great image. Keep up the good work.

Roxanne- Good evening my dear friend. Sometimes it's the little things in a photo that make it so special. For me it's the smile on the face of Tom's brother. You can see his smile. That someone loves what they do and the people they do it with and have that smile is a special kind of people.
I love to learn new things and your series on the potato farming has been most interesting to me.
I also love that in the last picture we followed the truck and now here its at its destination and the next process takes place. I can see the potatoes dropping into the planter.
The framing, colors, details, lighting and clarity are all sensational.
Excellent work
You take care out there, be safe, have a peaceful night, a wonderful tomorrow

Wonderful capture to show the machinery involved in the seeding process. The satisfaction after the work is done is apparent in Tom's contented smile.
