I love the composition here, Colleen. Did you put it in EOD? I would have! It's just a great shot with the layers of color. Love that you started with the leaves and stems to create the irregular band of green at the bottom; it balances the sky very nicely. And I agree that the row of poplars (or whatever they are--surely related to poplars) adds just the right touch of vertical interest to the sky. Great job--hope it goes on.

It was high noon, hazy and breezy that day, and I wasn't happy with any of the photos I took. But I kept coming back to this one, so I decided to enter it. :) Nikki, I entered it in T&P, but the design is what I like most about it, so maybe that would have been the better category.
