Your choice of Black&White makes this image unique.
The combination of guards in the frontline and the flag (Hinomaru) waving group of citizens make it look like a photo from archives. However, I can spot people with happy smile on their face and that makes different from those of photos from the olden time.
I viewed this with much interest.
