Fantastic capture, Jim! I'd say he is a little upset. My neigbor was a vet when I was a kid and we used to ride with him on calls. I watched him put a ring in a bulls nose once.

Oh dear dear dear, Jim. I'm such a cow person, and this makes me laugh and cry at the same time. Was this a friend of yours? I was expecting to learn his breed, name, weight, pedigree...ya know the usual stuff. Anyway, great closeup of his wet nose. I actually love ti!

I don't think he's going anywhere. He must be a real beast to make them go to that length to hold him. By the way, really nice close up image.

Dramatic closep Jim, excellent detail and the animals parted mouth makes it great..I must apologize, I'm at a loss to figure out why anyone would want to do this to an animal?? Perhaps there's a practical side I'm not aware of.
Well done!
Howard

Howard,
I can only imagine it is for "total control". It had a saddle, kids climbed up and were instructed to pull the left rein, at which point it would turn it's head to the left and the parents would snap a photo. To be sure there is some discomfort involved.
Thanks so much for the observation and appropriate comments!
Jim
