A wondrous Japanese Maple tree sitting ontop a small knoll in mid-autumn. I was lucky with this one; apparently this tree's leaves turn its brightest red on one or two days in the autumn and I am glad I happened to pick the correct day to visit the gardens :)

Those autumn colors are stunning contrasted with the green, and the light filtering through the leaves is perfect.
