Thirst.
This thirsty hummingbird was shot near Khindsi Lake, Nagpur, India. This hummingbird rapidly flaps her wings 20-80 times per second. It was a tough task for me to shoot just with 70-300mm lens. On that day, the temp. in Nagpur was 43 deg. cel. and this bird was so thirsty that she was trying to suck even the last drop available in the water tap.

A great shot indeed, I order to stop the wings of a hummingbird your shutter speed must be higher then 1/800 of a second! Jimmy

Jemmy, I had to wait there for half an hour to get this pic. It was captured at 1/320S, f-6, Exp comp-0.67, 70-300mm Tamron Zoom and handheld.
