The look of love

  The look of love
The look of love
This is little Gimpy looking up at my daughter Stacey, with such a loving look. Gimpy was mistreated & not wanted, Stacey has looked after her over the long week-end after her vet treatment (plastered leg) & tomorrow morning her new owners are coming to pick her up. We will all be so sad when she goes, but we know she'll have a good home & be wanted & not mistreated. Gimpy is only 5 weeks old. Lens aperture F/3.1, shutter speed 1/60sec, focal length 9mm, ISO 80.

Thanks to you all for your thoughtful comments. I just received an update on Gimpy, the vet is very pleased with her break, the plaster is off & she only has to wear a support now for a few more days then she'll be up & running.

It just breaks your heart that these precious babies could be mistreated. I'm glad she is happy now. Great compassionate shot Chris.

What a sad story, but with a good ending. I am a big animal lover and it just makes me so sad/mad that any one would want to hurt this sweet little baby :(
Sweet picture!

What a precious baby - I think they know and appreciate when people have been kind. Gimpy's expression really shows this! :-) God bless your daughter - I'm always so moved when I hear stories like this! Shame on anyone who would hurt any animal!!!

I don't understand animal cruelty. I suppose us animal lovers never will.Wouldn't you love to spend 5 minutes with someone who would hurt this kitty? We are blessed with people like you and your family who take such good care of these innocent, lovable creatures.
