This was taken with a fixed focus point and shoot I bought for $9.99 on the internet. Shot made in Taos Pueblo, New Mexico.

Randy,

Great image. It's worth a lot more than the cost of the camera!

  Randy,
Congratulations on your second place win.
It is not so much the cost of the camera as the ability of the operator.
Great shot.

Well done! Was it a black and white film or did you convert it digitally?

Congratulations Randy. I loved this image the first time I saw it, and I'm glad the judges liked it also.

Thanks for the kind comments. I have been on the road the last week, so my response is a little late. This image is a favorite of mine.

Johan, the image was originally color print, which I rarely shoot, but it is a much more powerful image in black and white.

Thanks again for all your comments.

Nice shot. And to think what I paid for my Canon 5D.

Just more proof Randy that it is not the camera that makes for a beautiful image but the eyes behind it. Bravo for your vision and the treatment used here.

I love it! People always say it is the camera and here you just proved it is the artist! Excellent and moving image.
