At first this just seemed like another Sunset/Reflections/Boats picture. I found myself going back to it again and again and not knowing why, and then I figured it out. You have a lot of reflections in the water part of the picture that don't seem to have a counter part in the top part of the picture. Can you tell me how this came to be (you know, like two pictures in Photoshop or maybe you were beta testing a new atomic lens or maybe it was just a happy accident that you didn't even notice)? I hope you can shed some light on this otherwise it's off to the yacht club at the crack of dawn until I figure it out.

I hadn't noticed this, Joe. I think some of the pilings are not visible because of the dark background below the sky, while others that are visible line up perfectly with the reflections. Interesting observation! The photo is definitely not touched up or merged or nuclearized. -Randy

PS I'll upload another photo taken a little earlier before the sky became so brilliant

Thanx Randall, it all makes sence now. I guess I can skip the trip to the yacht club and just sleep in.
