I think you've done it, Susie. This is a wonderful portrait of an unusual looking dog and the sandy beach background really worked for you. I'm not a Fractalius fan but your use of it here is so subtle I would not have known you had applied it except for your explanation. I love the natural tones and the glow the filter gives them.
