Morning After
Natural light through mini blinds. F7.1, 1/80 with 50mm lens. Cross Processed FX in PSPX2. The devil's in the details, they say. The imagery I tried to depict here has to do with the feeling one gets after drinking too much the night before (not that I've ever done that!) The light through the window is harsh and the effect allows even the color to bleed off into the room and the rest of the image. The glass itself is in focus, crisp and pretty (which is how it might have appeared the night before!), but it's shadow the next morning is large, harsh and a little distorted. In my twenties, the glass would be no more, because I would have broken it getting to the blinds to close them....lol.

Susie, the filter mimics a film processing technique, whereby color effects are achieved by mismatching film and chemicals. For instance, using chemicals designed for slide film to process color negative film.

Having never stepped into a darkroom, I didn't know either :)
