The waves have gone and our hero walks away knowing he had conquered the sea. This image was duplicated and the rendered solid black and solid white using the threshold command, then combined with the background using the multiply blend.

Dale Hardin 		  Thanks so much Debra. This was taken at a BP photo club shoot at Venice Beach. I was so thrilled with the images you took in HI, especially "Kona Waters III" We will be going to Hawaii in June and hope to find some interesting material. Can't wait.

Dale Hardin 		  Tiia, this was a trial to see if this technique would work. I like the way it turned out. It seems more intense than a simple silhouette exposure.
