Great SHot ! Is that Hell Valley? I have been there before. The monkeys are kind of scary. THey tell you not to stare at them because it a challenge, etc.
Anyway nice feeling trough the snow. I think it makes the picture.

Great capture! Is this near the place where they show on animal planet where all the monkeys get into the hot springs?

Poor monkey....even if I had a fur coat, I couldn't be in such a snow fall!
Nice capture of snow falling so hard!

What a great shot, Alex!
The thumbnail did not do justice, once I opened this image, "Wow!" I realized what a great shot this is. A story-telling image to say the least.
Snow must be falling on you or had some sort of cover to shoot this?

A winning shot in my book.

Thank you very much everyone for your wonderful comments!!

Eric: Yes, it's Hell Valley. I was there for three weeks and I found them very affectionate. You just have to try not to provoke them.

Tammy: Yes, this is where the snow monkeys bathe in hot springs. I have a photo of them bathing in my gallery (page 3).

Nobi One: You are right about the thumbnail not doing justice. I just hope BP judges don't judge this photo by the thumbnail. I was hiding my camera under my jacket and took it out only when I photographed these macaques.
