William, Paul, Kate, SuSana, Dominick, Tiia, Leanne, Colette, Deb, Bonnie, Kay, Nikki, Tammy, Jennifer, Colleen, Donna, Danielle, thank you all so much for taking time to stop by and for your encouraging comments! Bonnie, this was taken in FL at a lake in Citrus County. We were having a serious drought, and the water was really low so I thought I would add a bit of flood. Tammy, I was careful! While I really wasn't expecting a gator, I was watching for snakes and anything that could be hiding in those holes in the tree! I was wearing flip flops, no boots, so I had to watch where I put my feet! I didn't see any slimy creatures, thank goodness!

Colleen, thanks for dropping in a 2nd time to wish me luck since this was one of my favs posted in the countdown thread. I really appreciate your kindness and support!

Thank you all for your kind wishes. Danny, thank you for your kind comment! I really love this one because I think cypress trees are so beautiful, and I do love the spanish moss that hangs around in so many of the trees here in FL. I need to find a cypress swamp to visit. This is a lake, not a swamp, and while there are a few cypress trees, there are not that many.
