Ya know, Garth, I thought of that, too. (I've always felt this sense that heavily-digitally-altered images were somehow "cheating" or simply a different art form and should be categorized separately.) This is why I've made it a point of being forthright in my descriptions regarding any editing I've done. I'm sure the judges will consider these issues when deciding on the winners (Boy, what a tough job they have... There are so many AMAZING images submitted so far!) Nice composite Lisa. The Tundra Buggy Tours (see back advertising section any photo mag) are the best way to see the Polar Bears, up close, personal and in the wild. Do not wait to long. I will assure you it is worth every penny and you will never regret doing it as a once in a life time experience. We were only sorry we waited as long as we did. Made our trip in November 2006.
