This is a fabulous capture of a haunting piece of history, Frank. I've often wanted to do a photographic tour of historic Civil Ware sites. I'm sure it would be a very touching experience. This is a wonderful image!

Gosh, Frank, if the ruins are this beautiful, how very lovely the Capital must have been in its glory days... You've composed this perfectly, using the columns to create a frame-within-frame, and the centered arch to take the eye past all that wonderful red brick to the natural beauty beyond. Superb work and image! I hope 2008 is an exceptionally Happy New Year for you and those you love.
