Thanks, Tammy! It was quite a hike, but using a 2-stop grad ND and a 24mm wide angle (then mounting my camera as low to the ground as possible) all helped to produce this shot. Then a long hike after dusk through deep forests - in pitch black darkness - led me back out and on my way to Salt Lake City of another assignment! Thanks again for the compliments!

Use to live in the area...too bad you couldn't spend more time there. Below Great basin area, the Ruby Mt.s offer just as much. Wonderful capture. Tracy

Ahhhh, I've been to the Ruby mountains and photographed there too (even shot the Basque festival in Elko in the past!) - they are very beautiful! I have some shots up on BP and my website from the area- thanks Tracy!
