Hello David, I’ve had you down as a favorite for a while and I keep stopping by looking for new ones. Landscape photos seem to catch my eye the most and you have plenty of wonderful shots. In the flowing water shots, the effect of the water, is that a camera or photo-shop effect? And was “Tracks” run through a Buzz filter ?

John, the flowing water is achieved using only shutter speed. The slower the shutter speed, the more blur due to motion of the water. Amount of the effect depends on shutter speed and speed of the water itself. A slight touch of the photocopy filter with a linear burn blend mode was used in Photoshop on the "Tracks" image. Thank you Billy and John for your interest and comments. -David

Gorgeous waterfall shot. You have a beautiful gallery. I love your Orton shots, as well. Excellent work!

Great soft but directional light on the rocks, and just the right exposure (shutter time) for the water. Really good shot!
