Reynaldo, there is no trick to the 3D effect. I just added a white bar on a layer in Photoshop, cut out the ear using the marquee tool and it is done! You do need a photo with something that is close to the edge that can be cut out. If you photograph a subect during an approach, it will look 3D. That's about it :)

wow! stunning. How did you eliminate the cage in the picture? I have tried taking photos in the zoo but inspite of using manual focussing, I can't eliminate the cage.
It looks like you have shot it in kenya!

Awesome capture of this beautiful kitty. Terrific clarity and pov. I absolutely L-O-V-E how you cropped this image to look like the tiger was walking out of the picture....this is a favorite for me. I can't believe this didn't win a gold!!!
