Teenager
My teenage daughter, posing for me in her favorite hat. This shot was taken using one studio (halogen) light set to the right of her.

Nice portrait with warm friendly colors. She has very beautiful eyes. Im not an expert but I think the picture could be improved a bit if you removed the fingers. Not a big deal it's still a very nice picture.

Lovely portrait, she has a beautiful little face. I think the fingers actually give a nice reference point, shows some proportion and relation between two parts of her body. I think the comp works really well, don't change a thing!

The fingers nagged me the the first time I saw the picture. I played around myself and removed the fingers by taping on my monitor. It looked better for a while but then something was missing... The face sort of hanged in mid-air. Amy, I think you are right. The fingers gives anice reference point. What do you think Darcey? (Hope I didnt confuse you to much :-)

I did clone out the fingers and saved a copy that way, but I do prefer it with her hand in it. Tom, youre right, her face did seem to just "float" there without her hand. Thanks for the feedback, I always appreciate it!
