Wonderful colour harmonies in this image, Monika. The subject is really interesting, too. The leaves she's carrying are huge. I don't think I've ever seen any that big.

Thank you Gerda, Karen, Colette, Theresa, and Terry for your nice comments on this photo! I took this photo last Monday during a walk with Kate. We went to Seattle to see a bridge, which like Kate said will be open for crossing ships. I couldn’t promise her that, because it happens just sometimes, but she was so sure about it. And you know what – she was right! ;-) We only came and the bridge started opening! I just didn’t know what to say, when she said: “You see!” Anyway, we took a nice walk there and collected lost of huge leaves, just like you see on this photo. I don’t know the name of those trees, but the size of the leaves is truly amazing! And we still have them at home. I wish that my photo could be brighter and sharper, but I shot this just before rain, when it was really dark outside. I’m so glad you like it! Thank you so much! Monika
