This was taken on a mountainside in a thick aspen stand about 30 feet off the road near the Owl Creek Pass summit. My wife and I helped each other slowly down and then back up the 45 degree rock-strewn slope of the forest floor.

Love this shot. Similar to one of my favorites. Reminds me of going to some place like New York and taking shots of sky scrapers only you are shooting natures sky scrapers :). Congrats.

I have a number of shots like this but this is by far the best I have seen. I love Aspen trees and have always wanted to go to Colorado to capture their beauty. Well done!
