Shawna Engols 		  Thank you David:-) This was taken inside at night with a spot light right above of her. My camera was set on automatic with NO flash. Kaelynn was sitting on a black leather recliner. Here are the tools I used in Adobe Photoshop 6.0 on this photo.
Adjusting the Curves – I like this way of adjusting the brightness and contrast.
The Burn Tool – to make the recliner look like a black background.
The Dodge Tool – to give her face just a little more light.
Diffuse Glow (a filter) white - to give the photo a softer look and to bring out the highlights.
Adjusting the Color Balance – I added yellow to make it golden.
