Good morning--and good capture, Mel. I like that they are both in the same position, like one repeats the other, and the way the pattern on their backs and the ripples in the water repeat one another. Nice play of light and shadow, black and white here.

I have never been able to get this close to loons before. They see me coming with a camera, swim for cover, duck and then resurface on the other side of the lake. Decoys might be the way to go for me! Beautiful evening lighting, Mel and a fantastic capture!!!
