My first thought for a lock theme, was the locks on the C&O Canal here in DC! ;) Nicely done, and I'm glad to see another take on "Locks"!

I just love this, John. Skipped commenting the first time through because I already suspected it would be my favorite. It is. Hate to vote against myself :), but this has terrific lines (mostly vertical but in a horizontal composition and with that loop of rope to break up the linear--wow!), color (love that red and the punch of yellow with the basically neutral tones of the rest of the image), texture (water, metal, rope--great contrast)--it's a terrific entry and a great theme entry. Happy Theme Day.
