Exciting Night Out
August 2007 Nature and Landscapes
Fellow BPer Chris Budny and I had alot of fun under umbrellas capturing the lightening show that was going on at the mall last night. It was a whole lot of fun and such an exciting night. We were both so thrilled at what we were getting. I know we both shouted out with glee every time we caught a strike. Also, check out Chris's lightening shot at the World War II Memorial. It's just awesome! http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/gallery.asp?memberID=136794 I wasn't able to get one from there, but Chris managed it perfectly! This was taken from the Arlington Memorial Bridge. I really liked how the lightening framed the Lincoln Memorial. Aperture f/22 at 4 seconds. This is my 2nd resubmit, as a very small editing flaw, that I have now corrected, was noticed in the first submit.

Yes, I ended up with a couple of these in the same location--one actually is right behind the memorial. But I really liked how the lightening is framing the memorials. Thanks, Nikki for commenting! :)
