Lots of line and reflection in a place most familiar to me after 20 some years in Arizona. Back when they were first building it, it was roped off so people could not even walk on the bridge. It's come a long way, and your photo captures its beauty well. Thanks for the memories, Penny! Blessings, Deborah

Thank you Deborah for the nice comment! I love this city and can't wait to get back down this winter. The evening stroll alone the path around the canal is something my husband and I look forward too every year. Take Care!

Unlike you guys I remember it when it crossed the River Thames in London, England. I have crossed it many times before I came to live over here in Illinois. THe laugh for us Brits is that the guy who bought it thought he was getting Tower Bridge which is the one which also spans the Thames, opposite the Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are kept and where traitors were beheaded in past times. Tower bridge is very differant as it has a roadway that lifts to allow ships to pass underneath.Go to this Wikipedia page if you want to see it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_Bridge
