Amila & Narendran, I took this yesterday morning from a bridge on the M50 in nearby Worcestershire. The nearest town on the map is Queenshill. This field is normally grassy but sits near the River Severn which has overflowed it's banks as has the Reiver Avon. This year we have experienced the worst rain and flooding in nearly 100 years in the UK. The towns of Gloucester and Tewkesbury have been devastated by flooding and Tewkesbury was virtually made into an island. Almost the entire area has been without fresh water since this past Monday - boy I can't wait to take a shower again :) Cheers! Bob G.

I've seen phootage from the UK on the news here in Denmark, it's very scary. It's very rainy here as well, there have been floods. It strikes me that the water surface is so calm, it makes the photo quite surreal. Hope you get to normality soon..
