Sunflower - Full Bloom

Sunflower - Full Bloom and a Little Weathered
Sunflower - Full Bloom and a Little Weathered
10th in the series
My sunflower full bloom. Drooping petals, and starting to fall apart from the weather.
With much salvaging his poor bug bitten petals, I will use this one as this was the best without him looking so pitiful LOL (believe me, there are worse ones of him).
Comment's welcome and have a GREAT DAY!
Tommorrow, Mr. Sunflower says his final goodbye to you all for following him in this series.

7/16/07 4:08:46, 1/125 sec, 13:40 aperture, 33.00mm, ISO 80, Daylight.

Changed background to black, Tools used, Healing Brush and Brush.
Selective layer's darken black.

Good Morning and Goodbye It is to Mr. Sunflower. You need to get one good one of him after he has gone to seed. Those seeds are pretty cool to see also. You have done a spectactular job with this series! Way to go Peaches!!

I think Brenda is right you need to get one of Mr. Famous Sunflower after he goes to seed. This is just as wonderful as the first.

Thanks Susan. I will get a picture, I didn't know he was going to do any more lol. (Real flower person here lmao)
He probably won't have any petal's left either. So he will be a poor poor pitiful subject by the time he goes to seed, when ever that is.

Never the end of a beautiful plant. Though fading, Them seeds will produce new offspring. An epic tale of life.
But while here it brought us its beauty. And for that we are thankful for it and for you capturing it though your lens. Great job my friend

YES, Mr Sunflower is no more, his petals are gone and getting seeds now. I will take a picture when it is full, if the birds don't get to him first lol.
Thanks much!
