Julian loved getting dunked under the warm water, so as Jim jumped up and down holding him, I was in there too, following their actions. I had a digital SLR in a soft underwater housing that worked very well for shallow shots like this. Wish I could say it worked equally well for Jim when he went scuba diving the next day!

This shot kicks butt! I am so impressed because a) it was taken underwater with such clarity; and b) I'm so scared to put my head underwater to even ATTEMPT a photo like this!

Thank you all for your thoughtful comments. For taking shots like this one, you have to be willing to get over the embarrassment factor... I remember people looking at us like we were crazy! I've learned to get over caring what I look like when I'm out shooting :-)
