Okay...this is just TOO cool....WOW!I have never sen a macro of a butterfly's wing...maybe a butterfly...but it's wing?? FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much everyone! Melissa - the image you see is almost a 100% crop from the original image. The butterfly was pretty engrossed in sipping nectar from the flowers on a lilac bush when I took this picture. With a lot of patience and slow movement I was able to get about 8 inches away when I took this picture!
