wow, what a GORGEOUS photo, I do LOVE this!! Which were your settings? You were handling the bottle while the camera was set ready?
Cheers from Portugal, Su

I saw this and immediately opened a new bottle. Simple; but great shot. Nice job, Jim

This reminds me of the sangria I had at the restaurant tonight. So refreshing-looking. Very well done, Jim! :-)

  Susana,

The setting were, f/11, 1/125, 24-70 @70mm, one off camera flash placed behind a white diffuser panel about two feet behind the wine and fired with a remote (on camera) trigger. The shutter speed is not really important as you are relaying on the flash to freeze the action. The picture was taken in my almost completely dark garage, it has to be dark or you will get all kinds of reflections in the glass. I used a remote cable release in one hand while poring the wine with my other hand.
