Another beautiful African wildlife image, Francisco. You have some great ones in your gallery!

What lens do you use for your wildlife photos ?

  Thanks Mike,
all my african wildlife pictures where taken with the sigma 50-500.
It is a very versatile lens with good quality but not fast in off for low light situations.
Tha´s why I am saving to get the Nikon 200-400.....some day.

I just got the Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 with the 1.4x f4 and 2.x f5.6 extenders. I am having fun getting a lot of close ups that I could not reach with my trusted 70-200mm Nikkor. This gives me a very flexible setup. I can start shooting with the extenders afternoon events, for example, and then remove them as it gets dark. So far, I like it even though it is not as mobile as the Nikkor one.
