It find it interesting that you chose ISO 1600. It must have been a very cloudy day in Washington. Anyway, either your camera handles noise extremely well or your processing is outstanding. In any cae, this is a magnificent capture.

Janine, I haven't checked out your site in a while and had forgotten how I love to peruse your gallery. Your birds are SO wonderful... I try so hard to capture the birds outside in my yard, but yours are so much more awesome!!!! I love the level of sharpness in them and also amazed at the clarity for ISO of 1600!!!
