very nice indeed. I like the title. It might be my computer screen but I think a little more depth of field would have helped. Maybe one more smaller f/stop. Did you use DOF preview button? Nice image irregardless.

Thanks, Russell. I appreciate your comments. I have had my new Rebel 400D XTi for a week now. There is masses to learn about all the various functions. At this stage I still toddle along in the Auto stage. It is such a great adventure though and I hardly let my camera out of my hand just in case I miss a shot.

I bought the same camera for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. I like it as much as my Canon 30D and the Rebel has 2 million more pixel count than my 30D. Good luck with it.

Thanks for your comment, Kimi. I often find when I want to take a close-up, the wind starts blowing the instance I put my eye to the viewfinder, even if there was not a breeze before. Minutes after I took this shot, not a seed was left.
