Thanks so much for your nice comments, Michelle and Mitch. I will never forget the experience of taking this image. I was about six feet away as the priest skewered his cheeks. A single tear rolled down his cheek right after I took this shot.

Going through the People finalists, and this one really stood out--you've captured an interesting subject but also his emotion/character as well. Beautifully done, and congratulations on your finalist!
