I didn't know that egrets wore yeloow wellies-- now I know something new. terrific picture and I think very difficult because of the delicate white feathers that can wsh out so easily . you have very good rapport with birds and seem to capture their personalities.

Thank you, Mary! Actually, the Snowy Egret has yellow feet, but not all egrets do. I got the shot by underexposing slightly (that's why the white feathers kept the information and didn't get washed out) and making the exposure proper on the computer.
