Thanks, Colette, Carolyn, Lee Ann, Joy, Stephen, Judith and Shirley! This is a shot where I should have used a tripod, I'm sure - holding his little paw and shooting at the same time, not a pretty sight from afar. Stephen, this kitty is so photogenic, I COULD do enough pix for a coffee table book. Unfortunately, he's been here almost a week and he is destined to return to his real home at that point. It's too DEPRESSING that he won't be staying here forever! Little Danny sits on my shoulder and looks at the pix of himself on the monitor as they are worked on. Occassionally he goes over and tries to kiss the kitty images, little narcissus that he is ... so adorable!!! Oh no, way too attached for this upcoming parting!!!!!

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words! This was my favorite of my postings for this month as it truly holds a very special meaning for me personally. This beautiful kitten was only "on loan" to me for a very short time, and it was a heartbreak when he was taken back to his real home. However, he will always hold this special place in my heart; and hopefully, he will remember me in a special way too!
