Saw this in downtown Nashville.
I left the "disfiguring" grass in the cracks & exposed brick in the shot. I felt those items added to the haunting feeling of despair & perhaps displacement. The orange rectangle is an exposed brick -- perhaps it is the child's "designer clothing label"...a non-label....
I think it is a powerful piece of street art.

Joy L. Barber 		  thanks Mary -- I have thought about that child's face the past few days. I was in Nashville with our youth group and that was the first thing I saw when we got out of the vans...his eyes are so sad. Thanks again
