Hang Gliding

Hang Gliding
Taken with Kodak DX3900. It took a little while to get the shot I was looking for. I tracked the glider until he was in position where the sun was creating this star burst look through the light haze.

  Hi Adam,
Great shot, you must've been either really really patient to get this. I know cause I tried to get a similar pic but I tried to get the sun behind the a hang glider so it would light up the colours through the wings - I was far from successful so to you I say: "Great stuff Keep it up!"

Thanks Romen and once again to you too Piper. This is my works DIGI camera which I was able to borrow for the weekend. It is very limited in what control you have and only has a short 35-70mm equiv.lens. I don't get to use it that often so I was happy to get a result like this when it is more of a Point and Shoot style camera.
BTW the exposure was obtained by taking the reading and locking the camera when the glider was not in the path of the sun.
Cheers Adam
