Christmas in Omaha
I shot this two days ago with my refurbished Canon Rebel that's been converted to an IR camera. It was in the 40s; no snow on the ground. The IR sensor turns the greens into white.
Before that, I had used an Olympus point and shoot for my IR photography. The Canon Rebel's original internal IR Cut Filter was replaced by a filter glass equivalent to the Hoya R72 filter. No screw-on lens. The camera is completely IR now.
Without going into details, I want to thank Renee D, John C, and Jo Anne (not a BP member) for their willingness to help me get my camera returned from the shop in Australia.
F4.5, ISO 100, 4 seconds,

Beautiful Ken, I was thinking of doing the same thing with my Rebel but not quite sure after hearing you had some problems. When you get a chance could you send me some more detail.

This image has a nice simple Holiday feel about it. I'm glad you did not say houw much is cost to convert your camera as I’m a bit envious. I have always wanted to try IR. It just costs more than I willing to spend for the experiment.
