Not for Those with Faint Stomachs...
20 sec. exposure of a ride at an amusement park. The ride was called OCTOPUS, and consisted of curved arms with four carts at the end of each arm. Everytning swirling and going up and down at the same time - Just as you can see.

Thank you so much, Dolores. It may be somewhat unwise to selfcriticize the winning shot, but I intended to shoot it a little earlier, with some more colour in the sky. Unfortunately, when I arrived on location, the power went down!!! and did not come back until it was almost completely dark. In my opinion, slightly brighter sky would make the shot better. What do you think? Thanks again!

Well Robert...there is no harm in reshooting just for comparison's sake but IMO, darker backgrounds accent vivid colors like this beautifully! I always choose dark backgrounds when I want to emphasize color. You're being hard on yourself, I think. I think it's perfect as is!

Robert, I used to run one of these rides in Denver, in 1962. It was quite a ride!! You have done an excellent job of capturing this spectacle. Jim
