This had to be Ireland!!! I remember seeing some villages from far away and they were so grey... once you get inside all houses are plenty colorful in so many colors that it fades the grey sky away!

I love this photo site. To be able to post pics and get positive feedback is invigorating. Thanks for all the comments. I was in Ireland with my 12 year old daughter. She wanted to run into a store "for just a second" while we were passing through a small Irish town (Near Galway?). I had just turned to make the block to pick her up when I spied these perfectly lined-up, colorful townhouses. I hopped out of the diminutive rental car, took one snap, and it worked out nicely.

Excellent shot, Dean. I was just in Ireland and I took several shots of the colourful houses in Cobh and elsewhere. None of mine are anywhere near this good, though! Congratulations and best of luck in the finals!
