Wow, other than the hint of blue in the center, I'd not have guessed a huge color shift took place. The pink looks quite believable, and the blue barely gives it an "unreal" look. Cool effect!

Thank you, Sam and Melissa. The mum in this picture was only a little larger than a quarter, and had wonderful mottled light on it. The natural color of this mum is off-white, graduating into a creamy-yellow color towards the center, which has a ruddy color. Thanks again!
