*September 2006 ~ Nature/Landscape*

~95mm, f/4.8, 1/350, subject slightly backlit~
*color adjustments, noise filter, smoothed area where backlighting 'glow' looked oversharpened*

For the 101 group Harvest Theme! :)

In my area of the US, the main crops are cotton and soybeans. I got this shot from the side of the road today (nearing sunset). Although I tried to bring out as much detail as I could in the cotton, they were just so fluffy! ;)

Wonderful capture of cotton! I know lots of people who have never seen it grow. Arizona used to have cotton and now it all housing. This is very refreshing!
